The work was carried out using the system-analytical modeling and information principle of ecosystem functioning. The concept of agroclimatic potential was introduced and the model of agroclimatic potential dynamics (that is theoretically most precise in comparison with other similar models) was developed. The use of both the model and long-term series of wheat crops allows to calculate the long-term trends of average monthly air temperature in winter and summer periods as well as of mean monthly precipitation, the productivity due to anthropogenic factors and the dynamic of agroclimatic potential of the region. The estimation of the features mentioned above was carried out and the forecast of their dynamics for further 15 years was made for the Altai Territory as a study site.
