The analytical investigation of curvilinear shear bands in an elastic ring

A plane strain problem is considered here for a ring with curvilinear shear bands. Shear bands as slits in the form of the equiangular spirals are represented.
An elastic material stress-strain behavior outside the shear bands is proposed.
The Airy's function of stress is constructed. If a tangential stress on shear bands is assumed the constant, then a stress field tends to the classical plastic solution on condition that the number of slits is on the increase.
