The previous decade demonstrates development of concepts on the different types of personal immunity, including psychological immunity. Besides, the level of info-psychological immunity in many aspects is defined by peculiarities of psychological culture of a self (thereinafter PCS). The article show, that the peculiarities of this phenomenon are related with the processes of self-regulation, self-organization, self-determination, self-realization etc., which provides safety, stability and person’s immunity in the society. Moreover, PCS has its own functions: translational, project- orientated, regulative, motivating, communicative, estimating- predictive, cognitive-reformatory, significative etc. In this connection, functions of PCS are singled out, its structure and layers are analyzed. Further on, person’s emotional intellect connections of PCS are studied and analyzed. The article presents the results of the research and shows that emotional intellect is a one of important factors of forming psychological culture of a self. The forms of «cooperation» of emotional intellect and psychological culture of a self are marked out and analyzed. The presented results of empiric study show proved connections between emotional intellect and strategies of overcoming behavior. The criteria and results of this connection are described.
