Clerics statement has a high information capacity, which increased during the first half of the XIX century because of the increased data included in the source. Clerics statements are essential when considering the parish clergy, as they allow to analyze their basic characteristics: educational level, age, skills, level of their social, professional and territorial mobility, material security. Since clergy was quite a closed estate, it is possible to install genealogical relations between the sacred - clergymen. Information of offences and crimes of the clergy may help determine their most common types, the dependence of the punishments imposed on the clergy positions, the system of court proceedings and the types of punishment for certain offenses and crimes. This source also contains data on the activities of the clergy, not directly related to the administration of worship and conduct of the Church office (educational, charitable and others). Thus, the data of clerics statements give a relatively complete picture of the parish clergy in the South of Western Siberia.
