Development of Islamic Social Movement in Kazakhstan in the Early XX^thCentury and the Position of the Regional Authorities

This article examines the legislation of the Russian Empire related to the questions of registration and organization of public organizations. On the example of Muslim educational societies in Aktubinsk and Kopal the author considers attitude of regional authorities to the problem of revitalization the Muslim social movement in Kazakhstan in the pre-revolutionary period.
