The Prospects of Development of the Cabinet Mining Branch in the Altai District at the Beginning of the XXth Century in a Departmental Management Assessment

The article analyzes prospects of development of the His Emperor Majesty Cabinet mining branch in the Altai district at the beginning of the XXthcentury estimated by the departmental management. The author proves that only in 1907 the view of the Cabinet mining activity in the Altai district as on the compelled accessory of regional economy was finally fixed. This assessment of the branch became defined up to 1917. In its framework the departmental management tried to give to branch only more dynamic development.
