On Some Results and Prospects of Administrative Reform in the Russian Federation and the Altai Territory

The paper considers causes and implementation of the administrative reform in Russia and abroad. It summarizes the results of the first stage of the administrative reform, examines the main issues of administrative reform in Russia and in the Altai Territory. We study the long-term direction of administrative reform.
