Formulae Structure of the Gregorian Melody Te Deum (the Experience of the Analysis by the Method of Reduction)

The article is devoted to the analysis of the melody of the Gregorian hymn Te Deum from the point of view of the method of reduction (on the model of Yu.N. Kholopov’s analysis). Formulae-themes of the 3^d-4^d psalm tones are considered to be the basic constructive elements of the Te Deum sound-pitch system which distribution indicates the derivative of communication and the regularities of formation.
