The Transformation of Russian Military Honor: from the Predominance of the Collective to the Complete Individualism

Understanding of the military honor in Russia was originally formed under the influence of European chivalry. As a result, there is a strong individualistic personal principle, the pursuit of goals without taking into account other interests. The more society is losing spirituality, the more personal is moral aspects of life, such as "Honor".

Key words: military honor, chivalric culture, individualism, spiritual world.
