Subject-object Relations in the Concept Sphere "Charity"

The author analyzes lexeme of the synonymic number "benefactor - philanthropist - Maecenas - sponsor". On the basis of dictionary definitions and texts he identifies differential signs of members of the synonymic number. Author reconstructs presentations of charity in the Russian language consciousness on the basis of text fragments describing subject and object of charity.
