The Concept of Stage-by-Stage Introduction of a Jury Trial in the Russian Federation

The concept of stage-by-stage introduction of a jury trial in the Russian Federation is considered in the article. Based on the legislative analysis the authors come to conclusion that the jury trial was created not as a legal experiment, but as a legal reality. Stages of introduction of a jury trial are steps to realize constitutional rights of the accused to trial by jury.
