Development of Techniques for Calibrating Opto-electronic Measuring Device of Fiberglass Rods Profile Settings

The paper examines the calibration of optical- electronic device for measuring parameters of extended objects. Calibration technique using the line target was proposed. The optimal degree of the polynomial dependence used to calculate the actual size of the object was selected. The device was calibrated. The measurement errors were obtained.
