The article focuses on insufficiently investigated aspects of the history of the reign of Justinus I, later called "Senior". It is stated that historiography of this problem especially financial policy of his government, is poorly studied. It is necessary to research this theme on the base of new methods, and it is possible to use original method based on opportunity to interpret traditional methods in a new fashion.
