Unsolved Secrets of Dungan "Bonaparte" (about a Role of Soviet Factor in Destiny of Ma Zhongying, the Head of Insurgent Movement of Sinkiang Native Peoples in 1931-1934)

The article is devoted to the problem which is poorly studied in domestic and foreign historiography. It is the problem of influence of the Soviet authorities on the activity of a Dungan General Ma Zhongying who was one of the most known leaders of insurgent movement of Sinkiang native peoples against Chinese authorities in the first half of 1930s. The author proved the fact that after Ma Zhongying’s interning on the Soviet territory he wasn’t subjected to repression. Moreover, he had great influence on internal political situation in Sinkiang.
