The study defines correlation of the investment support and balanced development of the agro-industrial complex. Using the ratings determined by the investment status of the Altai Territory in comparison with the regions of the agro-industrial specialization the researchers assess the implementation of certain public and departmental target programs in the Altai Territory, define mechanisms of balanced development of territories and improvement of its competitiveness.
