Image Nomination Models (Based on the Surnames of the Residents of Kolyvan-Voskresensk Mining District in the End of the XVIIIth Century)

The article covers a research carried out within the framework of cultural linguistics and deals with Russian surnames taken from personal and employment registers of Kolyvan-Voskresensk Mining District in the end of the XVIIIth century. The research reconstructs image nomination models of nicknames and non-calendar names which were the basis for analyzed surnames.
