The article reveals historical development and current state of judicial law-making in Russia. Russian and foreign constitutional courts’ doctrines are analyzed. It is noted that decisions of the Russian Federation Constitutional Court can not be assigned to any known source of the modern Russian law, but at the same time, these decisions have a few features of the original source of law.
