The work considers discrete approaches to calculating the rod systems loaded with rather short (instant) impulse influence, and also with final extent impulse. Decision of a problem to optimize volume of one-flying beam using conditions of discrete equal durability is obtained. The comparative analysis of the optimization is carried out at a change of number of beam splitting sites and an impulse extent.
