Managing the Process of Political Modernization in Russia Today (the End of XX - the Beginning of XXI Centuries): a Regional Aspect

In this paper the authors examine the basic mechanisms to control process of political modernization used in the modern Russia and in the region (Komi Republic). The scholars suggest criteria for modernization of the political system, highlighting and analyzing major program to modernize the region in terms of processes of political modernization.
