British-Iraq War of 1941 and Position of Nazi Germany

Article is devoted to the analysis of policy conducted by Nazi Germany in Iraq during 1940-1941, and first of all to German position in connection with Anglo-Iraq war which became a turning-point in British-German opposition in the Middle East. The author examines German political and military plans in the Middle East, the German form of assistance to Iraq and the consequences of this war for German policy in the Middle East.
