Privateers as an Instrument of English Foreign Policy in the Middle of the XVI Century

The article examines problem of using the privateer’s industry as an instrument of English foreign policy in the XVI century. The author defines the influence exerted by English privateer’s policy on development of English-Spanish relations in the same period.
