Daud Bay Urkarts Role in Aggravation of Circassian Problem in 1833-1837
The article is devoted to the anti-Russian activity of the reactionary English publicist David Urkart, known as Daud Bay, in the North-Western Caucasus. The author investigates his part in aggravation of the so-called Circassion problem after signing Adrianopol (1829) and Unkyar-Iskelessisky (1833) treaties.
