The Peculiarities of the Soviet Governmental Policy of Involving Women into Social and Political Activity in Conditions of the Ethnic Region (on the Example of Buryat-Mongolian ASSR)

This paper researches soviet governmental policy to involve Buryat women into social and political activity. The author considers peculiarities of the public governmental policy evolution, analyses the main institutional mechanisms of the Soviet governmental and the CPSU policy to involve women and their features in national region.

Key words: governmental policy, social and political activity, women's participation in the social and political life of the Republic of Buryatia.
