The article describes the results of researching luminescence of europium (III) in organic matrices based on (poly)methylmethacrylate. It is assumed that the state and composition of the matrix have an influence on the coordination environment of europium (III). The authors reveal factors defining the intensity of polymer samples’ luminescence. The obtained data are compared with results of studies on complex of europium (III) in polar organic media.
