Dependence of the Melting Temperature of Nanoparticles on its Shape (on the Example of Titanium Nanoparticles)

Melting temperature of titanium nanoparticles in the vanadium and nickel matrixes was investigated by computer simulation. It was shown that melting temperature of the titanium nanoparticles depends on their form.

Key words: Melting temperature, nanoparticle, thermodynamic model of fusion of nanoparticles, phonon model of fusion of nanoparticles, titan, nickel, vanadium.
