Current State and Trends in Climate Change in the Kulunda

This work assesses the climate of the Kulunda and PriobskoŠµ plateau (Altai territory) steppe territory during the 1955-2009 comparing with climate change evaluated by Barnaul weather station in 1838-2009. The authors determine a period of significant warming since the 1990s accompanied by a decrease in precipitation. There is a need to develop measures to adapt agriculture to these negative factors.
