The Problem of Providing an Accurate Definition of Conscience

Conscience is one of the most complicated ethic categories. It is an existential emotional experience which is very difficult to express verbally. Thus there are many definitions of conscience in ethics. The notion of conscience can be contradictory and ambiguous; furthermore it is not easily observed in human behavior. The author analyzes main definition of conscience taking place in modern moral philosophy.
