Calculating Temperature Fields and Heat Flows in Motionless Medium by Finite Element Method

The finite element method is used to calculate the stationary temperature distribution and the heat flows in a solid two-dimentional objects according to temperature conductivity equation. The developed program allows easily set and control a boundary conditions using an electronic table. The calculated data represents in a visual form as isotherms. The calculations of a temperature distribution and a heat flows throw the corner of building and in the ground around an axial symmetric heat exchanger were made for objects, the period of relaxation of which is too small in comparison with a period of changing boundary conditions.
Key words: energy saving, ground heat exchanger, heat transfer, finite element method.
