Civil Society and Political Development of the Region: Prospects of the Study

The article is devoted to the analysis of concepts of civil society in application to political development of the region. Having determined place of civil society in political regional science the author offers to consider the civil society as a political phenomenon and necessary condition for regional democratic process. In scientific prospect it is offered to study the political elements and institutes of civil society in the regional political development.
