Kumandy Family Structure

The present work aims to examine the Kumandy family (seok) - a small ethnic community in the Southern Siberia. The author considers the specific features of the Kumandy's ethnic identification, outlines the history of the Kumandy study, and presents the family nomenclature and functions, revealing foreign ethnic elements within it.
