Orphans Care in Monasteries and Female Communities in the Last Quarter of XIXth - the Beginning of XXth Centuries (by the Example of Tomsk's Diocese)
The activity of Tomsk diocese clergy in establishing orphanages in monasteries and female communities was one of directions in the struggle against children's death and morbidity in the last quarter of XIXth - the beginning of XXth centuries. Devotees of Russian Orthodox Church bishop Vladimir (Petrov) and metropolitan Makary (Nevsky) were the organizers of this activity.
