To the History of the Development of Footwear Industry in the South of the Far East in the Middle of 1950-1970s

In the south of the Far East in the middle of 1950-1970s the footwear industry was actively developing. The largest factory for leather and footwear production at Far East was Primorsky leather and footwear factory. In the covered period the modernization of footwear industry, as well as the construction of new footwear factories began in Khabarovsk, Birobidgan, Ussuriisk. In 1970 11% of all footwear production in the RSFSR falls to the share of Siberia and Far East.
