The article is dedicated to the youth participation in industrial labor during the period from 1960s to 1980s in Eastern Siberia. The author analyzes the phenomenon of youth mass participation in shock construction during the 60s of the XXth century, researches such factors of youth attracting to the shock labor as public call, komsomol permits, transfer from other places. The author describes the causes of youth fluctuation in Eastern Siberia building sites.
