Interaction of Settled-Farming and Nomadic Communities in the Medieval South Kazakhstan

Article is devoted to the peculiarities of relations between settled farming and nomadic cattle-breeding societies in socio-economic structure of medieval Central Asian civilization. Cattle-breeding and agriculture are shown as elements of a common economic and cultural systems. Archaeological, ethnographic and historical data are used.
