Landscape-Ecological Assessment for Territorial Land-Use Planning (Ust-Kan District of Republic Altai)

The feasibility to apply landscape approach for territorial land-use planning is not stated in the Russian legislation. Nevertheless, this approach has considerable potential and advantages, including ecological evaluation. The work presents the results of landscape-ecological evaluation of Ust-Kan District of the Republic Altai carried out within the framework of territorial land-using scheme.
