State and Legal Views of Slavophiles

Article is devoted to poor studied Slavophilic idea of the state and law in the context of their orthodox outlook. Analyzing primary sources the author reveals Slavophilic concept of power as spiritual and moral sacrifice, autocracy as the only possible form of government for Russia.

In this paper the controversy of inner truth and external truth proposed by Slavophiles, as well as religious and moral foundations of law are considered.
