The article deals with the revival process of building of Orthodox temples by example of newly built churches in Gorno-Altaisk. Architectural analysis of church buildings revealed the facts that some considerable traditions are lost both from technological and architectural points of view. However, the main merit of modern church builders is that temples are built and revived nowadays and thus make it possible to meet the requirements of church people.
