The article explores the results of expert interviewing of representatives of federal and regional executive and legislative government bodies, local government, scientific and pedagogic community. The research was conducted to reveal relation of key regional persons to regional problems of social risks and social security in contemporary conditions. The experts rated base threats to social security and estimated protection from dangers and social risks in different social spheres.
