Austro-Hungarian Immigration to Russia in the Second Half of XIXth - the Beginning of XXth Centuries and Its Economic Significance

The article examines the problem of austro-hungarian migration to Russia in the second half of XIXth - the beginning of XXth centuries insufficiently investigated in historiography till now. The author shows the participation of immigrants in the economic life of our country, in development of agriculture, industry, transport and trade. The positive contribution of migrants in social and economic development of Russia since 1861 till 1914 is marked.
