The article is devoted to attraction the students of the Kemerovo and Tomsk regions to work as railway builders on the Kemerovo railway during summer vacations. In this article the time of the beginning of initiative, cycles of development, form and features of labour activity are determined. Much attention is paid to an explanation of revealed tendencies taking into account a wide context of historical development.
