Ethnographic Parallels in the Folk Medicine of the Bashkir and Altai Peoples

The article aims at finding that Bashkir and Altai peoples had certain ethnographic parallels in the folk medicine. The comparative material presents some people's medicine remedies and ways of medical treatment. Such materials confirm the idea that in traditional healing there were ancient Turkic common basis and ethno-cultural contacts between the Bashkir and Altai peoples.
