The Problems of the Baltic Peoples Settling in Siberia in the 19th - the Beginning of the 20th Centuries

Problems of settling Lettish and Estonian colonies in Siberia in the 19th - the beginning of the 20th centuries are analyzed. The author determines the main periods of migration which were connected with the criminal exile and voluntary immigration to Siberia. He came to conclusion that namely Siberia was one of the main directions of the emigration of all Baltic peoples.
