Materials excavated from barrow No.3 on the barrow group Musohranovo-3 carried out by the Kuznetsk complex archeological ethnographic expedition in 2008 are published and investigated. The results of excavation are described in the article, finds and elements of a funeral ceremony are classified. Analogies to material sources are resulted, and dating a monument to the advanced Middle Ages is proved. New materials are compared with earlier published sources for the use of fire in a funeral ceremony by the medieval population of the Kuznetsk hollow, and the question on semantics of this phenomenon is studied.
