Activity of Irkutsk Eparchy in a Context of the State-Church Attitudes in the Second Half of 20th Century

In the article the activity of Russian Orthodox Church in East Siberia in the second half of 20th century is illustrated. On the basis of archival materials the characteristic of social image of clergy and believers of the Irkutsk Eparchy is made. The organization of church activity is analyzed on the part of the Soviet legislation on cults. The specificity of religious life in Irkutsk Eparchy is elucidated.
