Investigation of the Physical-Chemical Properties of the Tb-Mg-Al System Alloys

Alloys of aluminium and magnesian corners of Tb-Mg-Al system are investigated by X-ray and differential-thermal analysis. The existence of threefold compound (Tb_0,67Mg_0,33)Al₃ which is in equilibrium with binary compounds and Tb(Mg_0,15Al_0,85)₂ solid solution is established. The dissolution enthalpy of alloys is determined by a calorimetry method under standard conditions (298 К) and their enthalpy formations are calculated.
