Natural Renewal of a Cedar Siberian in the Silkworm Plantations in the East Transbaikalia

The article explores natural renewal of a cedar Siberian in the silkworm plantations in the East Transbaikalia. Cedar plantations are successfully formed for the 30-40 years in silkworm plantations belong to Bergenia, Rhorodendron, Red bilberry groups of cedar forests and located on a distance up to 150 m from reproductive part of a wood.

In the plantation belong to the given type of cedar woods, but located on a distance more then 151 m from reproductive wood the renewal was going on unsatisfactorily.

Therefore it is recommended to carry out artificial restoration of a wood (particulate wood cultures) on these plots.
