The article is devoted to the problem of music education as the cultural wealth component of the person. The author used materials of Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk and Altai state archives as well as Siberian periodicals of 1920s. The whole complex of professional training, education and enlightenment were characteristic for these institutions in 1920s. A lot of prominent people took part in their activities.
