Traditional Tatar model of parents care for their children was based on world outlook of the epoch; parents did their best to keep their children alive and healthy, however, during the epoch before the present time the main part of useful activity included magic ceremonies and customs. At first glance, many magic practices used in regard to new-borns look strange to a contemporary people, but this was a characteristic feature of that epoch#s child-loving.
