This article is devoted to investigation of the Tatarstan#s agriculture during the Great Patriotic War. The new set of archive documents and materials allowed to analyze the situation with the rural productive forces and expose the level of peasants# labor organization, specify the main production figures and give a fresh view on the estimating problems of the rural population#s life and activities during a critical period in the country#s history.
