The article deals with one of displays of the campaign against cosmopolitism in Siberia. The author has revealed four main forms of the attack against scientific-teaching staff: the control of the staff, the control of ideological content of scientific and pedagogical activity, #cleaning# of the staff, repressions. At the same time the authority paid a special attention to the teachers of ideological subjects. The ideological aims of the campaign are defined in the context of the research.
